OVERVIEW
Founded and directed by JAMES O'KEEFE,
a Harvard Law School graduate with over a decade of experience in
the field of immigration law, ILG is devoted to helping clients
navigate the tangled web that is US immigration law, with threads
emanating from federal and state statutes, and a myriad of complex
and sometimes conflicting regulations and procedures.
ILG works as a partner with employers and individuals, tailoring
first-rate legal services to the special needs and unique requirements
of each client. Because US immigration laws are federal in nature,
ILG is able to provide reasonably-priced legal services to clients
anywhere in the United States, generally on a FLAT-FEE
BASIS . Our national immigration law practice includes companies
and individuals located across the US and around the globe.
We prepare and file cases with all regional offices of
the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS, formerly
known as the INS), state and federal labor agencies, and consulates
and embassies abroad. We monitor closely developments in immigration
law and utilize state-of-the-art technology for research, client
communications and case management (AILAlink).
Our areas of expertise include:
- Temporary employment visas for professionals, executives, intracompany
transferees and other workers -- such as H-1B, L-1, TN, E, O &
P visas.
- Green card sponsorship, including labor certification, other
employment-based avenues to permanent residence, family sponsorship
and visa lottery applications.
- Agency investigations and internal audits concerning I-9 and
other obligations of employers, anti-discrimination practices
and related employer-sanction issues.
- All other immigration legal services, such as J-1 visa guidance,
consular liaison services, fiancé visas, K and V visas,
etc.
