DIVERSITY LOTTERY TO START NOVEMBER 5th; ONLY ELECTRONIC FILING WILL BE ALLOWED

The Department of State (DOS) has changed the procedure for filing for the Diversity Visa (DV) lottery so that only electronic entries will be allowed.  The DOS no longer accepts mail-in entries.  Entries for the DV-2006 lottery will be accepted for a 60-day period, between November 5, 2004 to January 7, 2005.  The instructions are found on the State Dept. website at: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants_types_diversity3.html
